this morning
as I was leaving my building to go to work, my sister calls out “Bye 언니!” from our 6th floor window.
I find that I’m so incredibly critical regarding my sister. I pick at everything she does and I can never pass up an opportunity to test her memory. I admonish her for not memorizing the subway system and not recalling how to say 2,561,845 won in Korean. I cast her disappointed looks every time she gets tired around 10PM or isn’t able to keep up with my eating habits (I eat a lot, and every other hour). I expect her to be ‘Amazing Grace Deluxe Edition - Fully Loaded.’ Say I was a Galaxy S, then I expect her to be a flawless Galaxy SII.
